My nana hasn’t been very well lately – she spent 6 weeks in hospital suffering from pneumonia, among other things. She’s back home now making a slow, but hopefully full recovery. Here’s a short piece dedicated to her:
Behind tightly drawn curtains the rain is beating down,
You are sat in an aging armchair,
With mismatched cushions propping you up
Surrounded by balls of wool and knitting needles,
Feet tucked cosily into fluffy slippers.
